WELCOME TO

Kwaja Uganda

Our mission is rooted in addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those we serve. Through our orphanage programs, we offer safe shelter, nutritious meals, education, and loving support to children who have lost parental care or come from high-risk backgrounds. Beyond orphan care, we empower communities through outreach programs in education, healthcare, youth mentorship, and livelihood development.

Driven by faith, love, and accountability, we partner with local leaders, volunteers, and global supporters to bring hope, dignity, and lasting change to those in need. At KWAJA Uganda, we believe in the power of collective action—because every life uplifted strengthens the foundation of a brighter tomorrow.

Together, we are building futures—one child, one family, one community at a time.

Our Mission

Kwaja Orphanage is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for orphaned and vulnerable children. We strive to meet their physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs, fostering resilience and hope as they grow into responsible, compassionate, and self-reliant individuals.

Our Vision

To create a world where every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to thrive in a loving and supportive community — equipped with the tools, values, and confidence to shape a brighter future for themselves and others.

Latest Campaigns

Water Project

In Uganda, millions still lack access to clean, safe water—forcing women and children to walk for hours each day to collect water from contaminated sources. The KWAJA Water Project is changing that reality, one well at a time. Through the installation of boreholes, rainwater harvesting systems, and community water points, we are providing sustainable access to clean water for vulnerable villages, schools, and orphanages.

Education

In Uganda, millions of children face barriers to education—poverty, distance to schools, and lack of resources keep classrooms out of reach. The KWAJA Education Initiative is breaking these barriers, creating pathways to knowledge, opportunity, and hope. Every book, uniform, and classroom we provide doesn’t just educate—it transforms lives and uplifts entire communities. With your support, we can rewrite futures and empower the next generation of Ugandan leaders.

Empowerment

Poverty and inequality keep many Ugandan families trapped in cycles of struggle—but real change begins with empowerment. KWAJA’s Empowerment Program equips women, youth, and marginalized groups with the tools, training, and resources they need to transform their lives and communities. When one person gains the power to earn, learn, and lead, the impact ripples across families and future generations.
